 Kapa Haka
We arrived at school early to get our moko on for kapa haka but I was confused on where to get my uniform. So I went to room 5 but no one was there, other kids said you get it for your classroom but girls were getting changed. Soon or later all the girls done so I got my uniform so at the speed of light got changed and went to the hall. I got my moko on and apernile I was the one of the last ones. I got to has something to eat and as soon as I bite into my apple we were told to go to the courts. We went on to the bus and left.

As soon as we arrived we lined up and went under a markey. One school were doing there Kapa haka. Once they were finished, Wai did there kapa haka we watch . Then we left and got ready. It was about 20 mins until we did our kapa haka. We went on to the stage and Hunter started to sing Tu mai ra. I started to feel embarrassed that I had to wear a skirt in front of hundreds of people. song after song I look for my family in the crowd but I could not see them. We sang Tu mai ar, Harae mai a paoa, Ka pioioi, Puri anei, Utaina, The Wainui haka, Ka mate, Wanui e and E honore and then we walked out.

I was happy that It was over because I was start to get VERY HUGER! We had a 5 mins with are family then I saw my Gran I said were you and she said the same thing. After that we left to go back to school.

The Marine Reserve

The Marine Reserve

We had arrived at Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve. We got diving gear and Jo told us everything we need to know. Then we  got changed, we dashed down to the beach. In our groups we got into the water.

We put our flippers and masks on. Neve, Finn and Louie all need a boogie board so I went in to another group. So we swam out and on the way I saw some fish. Jo said look a crayfish and I looked but I couldn't see it, then I turn around and then I saw it and we swam on. We came across more crayfish 5 under a rock I also saw a black fish what I have never seen before. Then I was put in to Fly's group we showed her the the crayfish then we saw a gray sea slug. Then we saw a lots of Kina.

Then Stormur got cold so Fly had to take him back. I was cold to so Fly said do you want to come back, then I said NO! I want to make the most of it so I stayed with Rio's Dad. We saw more Kina and they were like the size of a soccer ball. Then we were all cold so we all swam as fast as we can back, arms and legs. On the way we pretty much saw everything before, it got more shallow so we had to take off are flippers and walk back to the shore. Once we were there I played with Finn, and we threw rocks at another rock. It was 30 mins until we left so we got changed and talked and then we left.
